Following ‘Jigirthandaa’, director Karthik Subbaraj has directed the movie ‘Iriavi’. This has been contributed by Vijaysethupathi, S.J.Surya, Baabi Simha and others. It was jointly produced by Studio Green, Thirukumaran Entertainment and Abi&Abi. Despite, its shooting was completed few months ago; there are issues in releasing this movie.
As they could avail theatre not sufficiently, the release date is yet to be decided. Finally, they chose 20th May to release this movie. But, once again the date has been postponed. Their new date is 3rd June.
The same date has been fixed for G.V.Prakash’s ‘Enakku Innoru Per Irukku’. Moreover, the discussions are undergoing about the release of Rajini’s ‘Kabali’ in the same date. If the release date of ‘Kabali’ will set on 3rd June, they certainly will postpone the release date of ‘Iraivi’ again.
