The movie ‘24’ in which Suriya has been acted is now under post production process. Its director is Vikram K.Kumar. It has been made as a science fiction movie. While addressing media, director said, “When I told the story of ‘24’, Surya consented to act. But, after one hour, he called and told that I want to produce this movie. This shows his affection towards the story”.
When he replied for the question, ‘Is it additional benefit for the film, the producer performs the role of hero?’, he told that yes, definitely, they have their own money in the film. Hence, they will show more interest on the film. The decisions will be also taken promptly.
Director Vikram worked as an assistant with director Priyadharshan. After the failure of the movies, ‘Alai’ and ‘Ishtam’ in Telugu, Vikram’s career was dull. At that juncture, Priyadharshan asked Vikam, ‘Did not you learn anything from me?’Vikram reminisced this incident humorously.
After giving 3 hit films in 3 languages, Vikram told, “After the release of the movie ‘Manam’, I met Priyan sir in a party. He neared me and told that I saw your movie; it was fine. He knew that I wanted that words”.
