Vijay Antony’s recent release ‘Salim’, a sequel to his previous hit movie ‘Naan’ opened well in all centres, winning box office collections and critical acclaims as well. The music director-turned-actor is planning to go for third installment of this franchise very soon. Meanwhile, Victory Star Venkatesh who saw the film recently was spellbound over the powerful packaging of this film and has acquired the Telugu remake rights. He will be playing the lead role reprising the character of Vijay Antony and N.V. Nirmal Kumar who directed the original version will be helming this remake project as well. It is worth mentioning that Venkatesh’s recent release ‘Drishyam’, a remake of Mohanlal’s hit movie with the same title was a blockbuster and is now sharing screen space with Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the remake of Hindi hit movie ‘OMG! Oh My God’.
