Tamil cinema celebrities expressed their support in different ways for Jallikattu. At this juncture, director Vetrimaran has said that he has planned to take a movie on Jallikattu. “I have bought the right to take a movie on the basis of the novel of C.S.Chellappah on Jallikattu. I plan to take the movie accordingly” he told.
He further told that it is unacceptable the ban of Jallikattu in the name of torturing animal. I welcome the agitation of the youths without any political motivation for Jallikattu. It should be allowed to conduct this event with some norms. When he was asked about the comments on Trisha, he told that everyone has right to express their view. One should face the opposite view with a reciprocal view not with degraded comments.
