Following ‘Kathakali’, Vishal is engaged with the movie ‘Maruthu’. Sridivya, Soori are other protagonists. Srivilliputhur and Rajapalayam suburban areas are witnessing the shooting of this film for the last few months.
During the shooting, Vishal came to know about the open toilet usage in that area. Hence, he joined hands with the Rajapalayam municipal commissioner Dhanalakshmi to find out the solution to make people aware about avoiding open toilet. The ‘Marthu’ team provided cheque for Rs.80,000 as first stage to construct toilets.
Further, Vishal has stepped in to eradicate open toilet usage in that area and has arranged for the meeting to discuss about this. He has invited the local industrialists to the meeting to seek their help.
