To help the poor children for their education, the night Marathan competition was organized in Chennai Island ground. People of various age groups (6 to 75 years) were participated in it. Actor Surya inaugurated this programme by waving the flag. He also ran for 5 kms distance to encourage the participants.
Surya always gives importance for children’s education. Moreover, he requests people to contribute more in the cause of children’s education. This Marathan witnessed the participation of IPS officer SylendraBabu and other celebrities.
