As Dulquer Salmaan is celebrating his birthday today, it turned to be a special occasion as the teaser of his upcoming film ‘Solo’ was launched. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar which is simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam. It happens to be the anthology of 4 stories and with the film separately shot in two different languages, Dulquer Salmaan says, “Shooting for Solo was like 8 movies at the same time… I earnestly thank Maniratnam sir for being there at the events of all my three Tamil movies.”
He said so because both Maniratnam and cinematographer Rajeev Menon were present there to promote the film.
Speaking to the media channels, Maniratnam said, “What we see in the teaser is nothing as Bejoy Nambiar has done something beyond our expectations. I was amazed looking at the visuals.”
Bejoy Nambiar cited that shooting with 4 different stories in the same film with 11 music directors and 15 songs were really tough.
Rajeev Menon too complimented saying, “These days shooting for a single song happens to be a real big challenge and its stunning to see a film with 15 songs, which together clubbed in two different versions makes it 30 songs.”
