Samuthrakani, Thambi Ramaiah, Namo Narayana and others have been performed in the movie ‘Appa’. Samuthrakani did bear the role of director and producer for this film. This movie is set to be released on 1st July. Samuthrakani shares his thoughts and experience regarding this film.
“I will not read any newspaper for 3 days during the results of 10th and 12th examinations. I feel lot if I read anything about the suicide of the children. Children are always ok. But, there are problems with our education method and parents.
I was affected lot by the suicide of the girl Dhairiya Lakshmi who scored 1040 marks. I could not recover for 3 days. I called my assistants and instructed them to do field works. I started to collect the news about the children through newspapers. Thus, the screen play of this movie has been written on the basis of my collected news of 4 years.
But, you need not feel that this film will be the complete lecture. I took 3 years to write screen play to avoid the lecture type. I am not interested to induct the song in this film. Since, I direct and produce this movie for myself. We are ready to send this movie for film festivals. The process will begin soon accordingly”, he shared.
