Mohanlal-Meena starrer ‘Drishyam’ made a stunning collection of Rs. 6.7 Crore approximately by the first week during its release in Kerala. Now the Tamil version starring Kamal Haasan and Gouthami was released in Tamil Nadu last week. According to the trade reports, the first three days collection of this film is actually Rs. 25Crores approximately. The trade analysts predict that if this collection continues it will easily make a huge spin of Rs.100Crores without fail. Jeethu Joseph the maker of original version has directed this film as well. It is worth mentioning that Papanasam has made a collection of Rs. 1.2Crore approximately in USA with its release on July 2.
