Following the grand success of ‘Neram’, Nazriya Nazim made an enchanting performance in the movie ‘Raja Rani’. Her next film ‘Naiyaandi’ with Dhanush in lead role is scheduled for release this Friday (October 11). The trailer that was released last week seems to have kindled the problem. Nazriya has lodged a complaint against director Sargunam that he has used a body-double for her to shoot a romantic song. This morning, she was present at the Chennai Commissioner office to lodge the complaint. Her statement in the complaint is as follows, “Director Sargunam chiseled me by using a body-double and warned me that he will spoil my name and image if reported to your concern.”
In contrast, director Sargunam has mentioned that he never used a body-double and she insisted him to use it for a shot since she was not able to travel from Kerala for this small reason. Regarding using a dupe for the song, Sargunam has challenged Nazriya Nazim whether she can watch the song with media friends and prove it.
