‘Miruthan’ is the first sombi type movie of South India. It was directed by Sakthi Soundararajan and contributed by Jeyam Ravi and Lakshmi menon. Iman worked with this movie as the music director. S.Venkatesh was the camera man. On behalf of Global Entertainment, Michael Rayappan produced this movie.
After released on 19th February, it garnered good support from various ends. Now, it has been selected to be screened in the Fentasia Film Festival which is scheduled to be held in Canada. It is only the second movie after ‘Endiran’ to be selected for Fantasia Festival.
According to Jeyam Ravi, “I got the news about the selection of ‘Miruthan’ for Fanatasia Festival on Mother’s day. I shared that happiest moment with my mother. It is my first film to be participated in the international film festival. There is no boundary for art. Good art can be appreciated in anywhere else. I feel that conception practically now.
This film was hailed by media that it has been taken to the international standard. Now, it has been ensured. Herewith, I convey my gratitude to director Sakthi Soundararajan, producer Michael Rayappan and other members of the team.
