We know that every director will have their dream movie. In this line, we can say that Bharathiraja has ‘KutrapParambarai’, ‘PonniyinSelvan’ for Manirathnam, ‘Mayil’ for Shankar, ‘Maruthanayagam’ for Kamal. In this sense, director A.L.Vijay has also his dream movie named ‘Kumarikandam’.
According his words, “There was Kumarikandam in Indian Ocean 4000 years ago. It did spread from Kanyakumari to Australia. Its sole residents were Tamils. After submerging of this continent into ocean, there were some parts left without engulfed. We only reside on that part. My movie will record this history completely” he expressed.
