The movie ‘Bogan’ is being directed by Lakshman having Jeyam Ravi and Hanshika as protagonists. Prabudeva produces this movie. Assistant director Antony Thomas has filed a complaint that the story of the story of this movie was stolen from him. Now, the issue is in the court.
At this juncture, director Lakshman has explained that this story has not been stolen from Hollywood. This was written with common concept. “I had told this story with many producers. Producer Nemichand jhabak was one of them. Antony Thomas has told his story to the same producer.
But, Nemichand jhabak replied that Lakshman told this type of story before a year and now he is making his film on the basis of that story. Then Anton Thomas wrote story on the basis of my concept and registered it with writers’ association. Now, he has filed a complaint in the pretension of getting money.
During the trail in writers’ association, I submitted some DVDs which are similar to ‘Bogan’ story. There are lot of films are being released in Robo and horror concept all over the world. I also used such type of common concept. I am not in the position to steal of copy someone’s creation” Lakshman said.
