‘Don’t Get Cheated’ – Pandiraj

Filmmaker-producer Pandiraj has personally addressed media channels through a letter pertaining to a serious issue. In the recent times, some of the unknown persons are misusing his name by calling up some artistes looking for a break in movies. The caller has asked them to deposit Rs. 49,000/- to his account with a promise that he would get them membership card in actor’s union followed by a chance in Pandiraj’s movie.

In his statement, Pandiraj has said, “This is really disappointing to see someone degrading the art of cinema. It is true that I offer chance to newcomers, but I make it a point of meeting them directly in my office and never communicate through phone or ask for money. Therefore, I request everyone to be careful with such crooks and not to believe the such phone calls.”

The director has said that the unanimous caller has been specifically targetting child artistes since the filmmaker is known for introducing many kids in his movies.
