According to information from reliable sources, actress Disha Patani is likely to play the lead role in the Tamil Historic film Sangamithra. She will be replacing Shruti Hassan, who was originally cast in the role. The official announcement is expected wrongly. This film will also be released in Hindi and Telugu.
While the Tamil and Telugu versions will be produced simultaneously, the Hindi version will be made fresh with a new star cast.
The film will feature actors Arya and Jayam Ravi. Music is by A. R. Rahman.The film was launched with fanfare at the Cannes International Film Festival. Rahman observed that this was an ambitious film.He agreed after just listening to 30 minutes of narration.
