As Dhanush introduced Anirudh as a music director he provided few chances to Anirudh. After worked in ‘Vedalam’, Anirudh’s image was raised as a star music director. But, following the beep song issue, he encountered some setbacks in his career.
Dhanush did not recommend Anirudh for his movies like ‘Kodi’, ‘Thodari’ and ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta’. Anirudh was in much expectation about ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta’ as he was intending to join hands with Gautammenon for the first time. But, his ambition is now failed.
Despite, he worked together continuously with Harish Jeyaraj after ‘Minnale’, he then joined with A.R.Rahman. Again he went with Harish Jeyaraj and came back to A.R.Rahman one more time.
Now, in his movie ‘Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta’, he has decided to go with Rahman. Dhanush’s previous films ‘Mariyan’ and ‘Ranjana’ (Hindi) were contributed by Rahman.
