It marks the 25th film of Dhanush and had eventually gained more popularity among his fans and with Dhanush-Anirudh duo coming back together, it was expected to be a huge album. Nevertheless, the songs turned out to be a major disappointment for many buffs. Adding more to the vanishing element of VIP was the tremendous hit of ‘Maan Karate’ that outperformed it. Well, the FM stations are frequently airing the songs of Maan Karate and the sudden surprise of ‘Cuckoo’ has diminished the effect to a greater extent. It looks like Dhanush will have to undertake specific effort to increase the popularity of these tracks.
