Siddarth looks delightful for his recent release Jigarthanda is faring well in box office and is receiving good response. The actor openly admits that he has less prominence in the script than actor Simha who played the baddie in this flick. “I was aware about this fact when Karthik Subbaraj gave me the script. As I went through it, I was sure that the other character is going to win all applause. But I gained such maturity to handle it through Aamir Khan. During 2005-06 when my career was at the beginning stage, I was asked to play a part in Rang De Basanti. As I was going through the story, I found a role to be so challenging, especially in the climax, where it involves 7 minutes of complete importance. When I asked who is playing this role, the director told me Aamir Khan had asked Siddarth to pick. But I instantly told them Aamir Khan is supposed to play this role as it holds more substantiality, but they wanted me. Such is the professionalism of Aamir Khan as he chose a small actor like me to play the major role and passing it to me,” said Siddarth.
